My car is #396 on the registry!

My 1971 Dodge Super Bee is an Original 440 Magnum Car. Check out this great writeup of the comparison between these 2 amazing engines. See the main Super Bee page on this website for all the Modifications done to my car.

Sweet original Ad 1971 Super Bee & 1971 Charger R/T!
Look at those beauties! My car has the same hood and decal setup as the Red Super Bee pictured!

The Super Bee was originally an Insurance Buster! It wasn’t considered in the same category of power as the Charger R/T & many other powerful vehicles they made. Car owners buying a Super Bee didn’t pay additional Insurance charges.

The Scat Pack was a performance package for Dodge muscle cars that included a bumblebee logo and stripe. The logo and stripe indicated that the car could run a quarter-mile in 14 seconds or less. The term "Scat Pack" was first used in advertising in the late 1960s. "Scat" refers to the term "scat", as in "Get out of here!". The "Pack" part comes from Frank Sinatra's Rat Pack.

Dodge News Magazine was included as part of your Scat Pack Membership back in the day. This is a Super Bee feature cover of that magazine.
